Inverness
airport connects with the major UK airports
and the many of the islands off Scotland's west
coast. The airport is quite modern and
very friendly, compared to the Heathrows of this world.
Long stay parking is available, but it should be noted that it
is several hundred yards away from the terminal building.
Parking for a short period is allowed outside the terminal
itself, so it is recommended to drop off baggage and other
passengers before going to park. There is no
covered walkway either, so take a coat in winter or if rain is
forecast.
